Tottenham have set sights on Portugal International Andre Silva and according A Bola Spurs have made a second bid to sign the 28-year-old who is contracted with Sporting CP.

Tottenham saw their opening € 25 million bid rejected and according to the report in Portugal they have now made an improved € 30 million offer to sign the Portuguese.

The Liga NOS giants want € 35 million for their midfield star and an agreement could be reached halfway.

Negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing and Tottenham are hopeful they will manage to register their first summer signing within the next few weeks.

Adrien Silva has six goals and four assists in 36 games in all competitions with Sporting in the 2016/17 campaign. He has also featured in 20 games with Portugal national team managing one goal.

Sevilla star Steven N'Zonzi has also emerged as a transfer target for Mauricio Pochettino's side.
