Tottenham: Pochettino might replace Simeone as Atletico Madrid manager
The Argentinian tactician, however, has a contract expiring in 2021 and convincing the Spurs to offload their manager is going to be nothing easy. Simeone’s Atletico Madrid’s contract runs until 2018 as the former Catania boss decided to cut two years on his deal with the Spanish club last summer.
Simeone has recently admitted that he’s going to coach Inter one day and several reports from Italy claim that El Cholo could be appointed as Inter head coach from next summer despite the recent arrival of Stefano Pioli.
In case Simeone bids his farewell to Atletico Madrid, the Colchonerso would replace him with his compatriot at the end of the season. Will Simeone leave at the end of the season or will he wait until the natural expiration of his contract?
