16.10 CET+1 - Totti has signed a new one-year deal with AS Roma and the agreement includes a role inside the club's control room from next summer and for the next six years. Totti will end his playing career at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
15.15 CET+1 - A meeting between Francesco Totti and James Pallotta is ongoing in Rome city centre. The club have reportedly offered Totti a one-year contract extension and a long-term contract to become a key figure inside the giallorossi’s control room from next summer.
The club’s president said this morning that the player’s extension is not to be taken for granted, though he doesn’t expect problems during negotiations.
