According to reports out of England via Liverpoolecho.com, Everton coach Ronald Koeman has sight his sights on Crystal Palace forward Christian Benteke to boost his attack. The Belgian attacker has claimed that he his happy with his current club, amidst the speculation. After losing Lukaku to Manchester United, and reuniting Wayne Rooney with his old club, Everton are thought to still be in the market for another attacker, with Benteke fitting the role of his exiting countryman quite well.

The 26 year old striker, originally from Zaire, was only purchased by Crystal Palace last year from Liverpool, but he had an noteworthy season, scoring 15 goals in 36 matches. Benteke is a key figure for new Dutch coach De Boer, and will be difficult to move at the moment. His strength and finishing ability are hard to come by, which is why he is valued so highly by many teams.
