US star rejects Liverpool move stating that he's happy in the Bundesliga

Despite recent reports suggesting a move to Anfield was imminent, Borussia Dortmund midfielder Christian Pulisic has ruled out a summer switch to Liverpool. The 18-year-old US international has caught the attention of several big European clubs and has been heavily linked with a move to Merseyside throughout last season.

However, in an interview with NBC Sports, the youngster wanted to set the record straight on a possible move to England. He began by explaining that; “It was the biggest league I followed as a kid and watched. The league has a lot of players, and teams I liked in the Premier League.”

“Right now, it is not something I am looking to get into immediately or anything like that. I am happy at Dortmund and I am excited for the rest of my career.”

After the shock departure of Thomas Tuchel last week, Pulisic had nothing but praise for his former boss when he declared that; “I was very thankful for everything he [Tuchel] did for me, giving me the chance at such a young age and getting a start to my professional soccer career. It is something I will always remember him for and I am very thankful for that."
