André Villas-Boas could be the next Inter manager as confirmed by Porto President Pinto da Costa. Last summer, the Portuguese manager received several offers from Liverpool, Anzhi and even Inter but opted for Chelsea, the only club willing to pay his €15M release clause.

But his season at the Stamford Bridge has been quite disappointing and the Portuguese is expected to leave London if he fails to land any silverware or qualification to the next Champions League.

President Massimo Moratti is ready to jump on the deal but Villas-Boas would certainly be a huge gamble for the Nerazzurri considering his high wage and his demand for hefty investments in the transfer market.

Barbara on Pato: Interviewed by La Repubblica, Barbara Berlusconi claimed she didn’t get involved in the negotiations between Pato and Paris Saint-Germain.

“Our family wants to continue having a big team, the return of my father as a President should represent a new start. Whoever thinks Milan is a ‘toy’ doesn’t understand how much football has changed: it isn’t just passion but business,” explained Barbara.

Guidetti-Inter: Inter are also following Swedish striker Guidetti. The Feyenoord ace has plenty of admirers as well as an impressive scoring ratio.

The Nerazzurri sent out their scouts to follow him and so did Arsenal and Bayern Munich. Manchester City own the rights over Guidetti but could eventually agree to let him go.

Calciomercato.com also discovered that last summer, when Guidetti was a free-agent, Inter were offered his services by an Italian agent but turned the player down.

Roma follow starlets: Roma director Sabatini is incredibly busy working on several deals for the summer. The Giallorossi are interested in Udinese winger Isla, who just recently picked up a long term injury, as well as Van der Wiel and Ghoulam.

Sabatini also following a number of Serbian players: Ivan Miljkovic, Stefan Savic and Neven Subotic. Argentine starlets Rodrigo Battaglia and Lucas Ocampos are also on the Giallorossi radar.

Natali leaves Viola: Fiorentina could lose defender Natali at the end of the season. The Italian centre-back will be a free agent in June and has already received plenty of offers including one from Milan.
