England have won the FIFA Under-20 World Cup after a dramatic 1-0 win over Venezuela in Korea. Paul Simpson’s men made history becoming the first English side to win the trophy at this level. A first-half goal by Dominic Calvert-Lewin sealed the win but the Three Lions had goalkeeper Freddie Woodman to thank for a second-half penalty save which preserved their narrow lead.
 

Woodman also picked up the Golden gloves prize for the best keeper in the tournament; Italy’s Riccardo Orsolini won the Golden Boot as the competitions top marksman.
