    West Ham open transfer talks for Chelsea youngester

    West Ham have opened transfer talks with Chelsea to sign the Blues’ youngerster Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The 20-year-old midfielder is one of the cornerstones of U-21 England national team and one of the most promising youths of Chelsea’s academy.

    According to the British tabloid, West Ham want to sign Loftus-Cheek on loan until the end of the season. The Blues’ boss Antonio Conte has recently revealed to have plenty of trust in the promising midfielder even if he’s been struggling a bit with injuries so far this season.

    "There will be a moment when I speak with my club and take the best decision, but I count on him because I think he has good potential”, Conte has recently told British media.

    Loftus Cheek has only registered one Premier League appearance – as a substitute – so far this season and has played two EFL Cup games, playing 158 minutes throughout the 2016/17 campaign.
