Bad news for Antonio Conte and Chelsea fans as it has been confirmed by our sources that Alvaro Morata's injury will keep out of action for up to 6 weeks. 

Morata is considered a key player for both Chelsea and Spain, and will come as a blow for both teams. None more so than Premier League Champions Chelsea who are attempting to defend their title and will struggle without their key man who has already scored six goals this season.

Morata is set to miss a slew of important games in both the Premier League and the Champions League. If he is out for the expected four to six weeks then he will miss the two crucial Champions League ties against Roma, as well as a significant amount of games in the Premier League with clashes against high-flying Watford, bottom dwellers Cyrstal Palace,  Everton and Bournemouth. 

Conte only has one recognised striker in his ranks now in Michy Batshuayi who is clearly still not trusted by Conte to lead the line as evidenced in their game with City whereby the manager switched to a false nine.
