Which defenders are on Juventus’ shopping list?

Juventus need to sign three new players in the summer: one defender, one midfielder and one striker. The priority will be to find a replacement for Alvaro Morata and Martin Caceres who have just left the club.
Edinson Cavani, Arkdadiusz Milik and Alexis Sanchez are on the old lady’s wish-list for the attack, but which defenders are making the bianconeri’s shopping list?

Mehdi Benatia is the absolute priority. The Former AS Roma defender wants to leave Bayern Munich as soon as possible and would love to return to Italy where he has also played for Udinese.

The Old Lady doesn’t want to sign him to permanent deal and will only sign him on loan. Bayern Munich are only willing to sell the player to permanent deal at this stage and the Morocco International’s price-tag is € 18 million.
If the Bundesliga side won’t agree to Juventus’ conditions, there are three more defenders on the Old Lady’s shortlist.

Lazio target Jardel would be a quality and cheap option. The player would snub a move to the Olimpico to play at the J Stadium next season. The same goes for Shkodran Mustafi, though it will be very difficult to sign the Germany International from Valencia. One last option could be Atletico Madrid’s Lucas Hernandez, also linked with a move to Arsenal.

The 20-year-old centre-back is looking for game time and his release clause is set to € 21 million, still too much for Juventus, but the Old Lady would negotiate the player’s transfer fee should Atletico Madrid agree on his sale.
