Why Donnarumma has put AC Milan contract talks on hold

As today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, however, the real reason behind new contract negotiations stalling is the uncertainty over the club’s future owners. Chinese consortium Sino-Europe are expected to compete the club’s acquisition by the 13th of January, but many reports are suggesting that the closing date could be delayed, not to mention that potential owners are still unknown to the public.
Even if Silvio Berlusconi has recently claimed that he’s aware of identities of AC Milan buyers, Raiola and Donnarumma want to know their identities and their projects for the future of the club ahead of committing the goalkeeper’s future to the San Siro hierarchy.
