Zabaleta’s agent: ‘We could see him in Serie A soon’
The Argentinean right-back’s contract at the Etihad runs until 2017, but, according to his agent, the 32-year-old could leave the Premier League giants earlier than that.
“Guardiola would like to keep him here, but Pablo spent lot of time in England and would like to play somewhere else now. I don’t know if it is going to happen this summer or the next one, but I think that we could see him playing in Serie A soon.
Rumours and speculations over a possible summer move to Inter have been recently mounting, though the player’s € 4 million a year salary could represent a problem for the Serie A giants.
Zabaleta, however, is on very good terms with Inter boss Roberto Mancini and Man City could decide to let him free to join the nerazzurri side one year before the natural expiration of his contract.
