Zenit join race to sign Juve, Spurs target

Zenit St. Petersburg are reported to be interested in signing Juventus and Tottenham target Douglas Costa. The Brazilian has reportedly informed Bayern Munich that he wants to quit the Allianz Arena in the summer and a number of top clubs are being linked with a summer move for the former Shakhtar man.

Douglas Costa, 26, did struggle with game time during the 2016/17 campaign and Champions League finalists Juventus are believed to be the most interested club in signing the pacey winger.

The bianconeri are looking to strengthen their attacking department signing one new winger at least and the Brazilian tops the Old Lady’s shopping list alongside Di Maria who, however, is a more complicated target to sign as he’s more expensive plus he does not seem open to leave Paris in the summer.

Tottenham are also keen on Douglas Costa with the Spurs who are having concerns over the fitness or Erik Lamela who skipped the majority of this season due to an injury.
According to Sky Sport (via TuttoJuve) New Zenit boss Roberto Mancini has requested the Russian club to sign Douglas Costa, possibly making it much more complicated for Juve and Tottenham to sign the Bayern Munich star.
