Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be handed new Man United deal

Former Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimović could be handed a new deal with the reigning Europa League champions when he recovers from the horrific injury had he had in April.

The 35-year-old Swede is currently at Carrington HQ in Greater Manchester, after he accepted Man United’s proposal to recover under their care.

The Red Devils have all but acquired their new forward Romelu Lukaku from Everton for a fee thought to be around £75m plus add-ons, but Ibrahimović still could join alongside the Belgian international yet if he becomes fit in time.

The Daily Mirror are suggesting that senior Man United sources are of the belief that the former-Paris Saint-Germain player could be set for a remarkable comeback should everything go according to plan.

The club have recently offloaded their record top-scorer and club legend Wayne Rooney back to Everton, leaving the possibility of a Zlatan return to Old Trafford for the next campaign.
