In an interview with SportMediaset, Ismael Bennacer spoke about an incident during Milan-Sassuolo, when he rounded the goalkeeper and only needed to finish. However, the midfielder opted to get it onto his left foot instead, giving the defender time to come back and block.
 
"The mistake against Sassuolo? I should have shot with my right foot, I made a big mistake. I didn't see the defender coming," he explained. The game ended 0-0 and the Rossoneri failed to extend their winning run to three games.
