AC Milan consider January bid for Ajax starlet

AC Milan could make an attempt to sign Ajax starlet Riechedly Bazoer, calciomercato.com transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano has exclusively learned. The 20-year-old midfielder is impressing for his technical skills and his personality and new AC Milan director of sport Massimiliano Mirabelli had already scouted the promising midfielder when he was working as Inter chief scout.

The rossoneri will have fresh cash to invest on new recruits in the January window and Bazoer is considered one of the priorities for the Serie A giants that aim to return to Europe after failing to play in any European competition in the last two campaigns.

Mirabelli travelled to Holland to scout Bazoer a few weeks ago and could take another flight for Amsterdam before the January transfer window opens. Ajax, however, have slapped a huge price-tag on their starlet.
The Lancers could ask for € 20 million plus € 3-4 million bonus. Mirabelli could try to find agreement with the player first before asking Ajax to cut the price for their promising midfielder.

The player would be open to move to AC Milan as his agent has recently admitted an interest from the  Serie A giants. If the rossoneri fail to sign Bazoer in January, then a new summer offer must be taken from granted.

Meantime, Mirabelli will be at Rome’s stadio Olimpico next week-end to watch Roma-Bologna.
