    AC Milan former star Andrea Pirlo: 'I'm sure Brocchi will do well'

    Even the former AC Milan star Andrea Pirlo has commented the rossoneri’s decision to appoint Cristian Brocchi as their new manager. The 36-year-old midfielder, who is currently playing for New York City FC, told Sky Sport: “He has followed the right path, starting from the Academy. He has done very well. I talked to him yesterday, he wants to improve. Now, he has this chance, and I am sure that he can do well”.
    “Was it the right choice? I don’t know, even because I feel sorry for Mihajlovic”, he added. “He’s a good person and an excellent coach, but, as you know, in football the results are all that matters”.
