AC Milan make first contact for Barcelona outcast

The injuries of Biglia and Bonaventura have forced AC Milan to act ahead of the upcoming January transfer market, with sporting director Leonardo following many different profiles.

In fact, as anticipated by Calciomercato.com a few months ago, Barcelona's Deniz Suarez is becoming a concrete option for the Rossoneri. The Spaniard, whose contract expires 2020, has failed to make his name a popular one, even though he's been at Barcelona for two years.

Therefore, it is no surprise that rumours regarding his future have appeared. Earlier this evening, Sky Italia reported that AC Milan have made an initial inquiry to the Catalan club, testing the grounds for a potential deal.

One option would be to bring the attacking-midfielder in on loan, which would include a buy-out option of some sort. However, it remains to be seen if Barcelona would be willing to accept that formula.
