AC Milan news: Leonardo slaps €20m price tag on Leipzig target

Hakan Calhanoglu has been put up for sale by AC Milan's sporting director Leonardo, and thus the club is ready to listen to all the offers that arrive already in January.

Among the teams interested, Leipzig are one of the few that have made concrete steps to sign the midfielder already. In fact, this is not the first time that the Red Bull club has shown interest in Calhanoglu. Last summer, the German club placed an offer of around €30m, though it was rejected by the old management.

Just four months later, his price has dropped significantly, following a poor spell. The negotiations between the clubs are yet to officially start, but Milan have been informed about Leipzig's will to negotiate. Leonardo has slapped a €20m price tag on Calhanoglu, although the German club is trying to get him for less.
