AC Milan, Paqueta is ready for Juventus

Yesterday, Lucas Paqueta made his debut for AC Milan in the game against Sampdoria, which the Rossoneri eventually won by two goals to nil. The Brazilian was withdrawn in favour of Borini after 85 minutes, but despite this, he certainly didn't waste his chance.

Gattuso decided to field the new signing in the midfield, which many saw as a risk beforehand. However, Paqueta displayed great tactical ability, slotting in well in the mezz'ala position. In fact, he reminded us a lot of the injured Bonaventura, or at least that's the best example from Milan's squad to compare with.

With that said, Gattuso wasn't lying when he said that Paqueta had already adapted well, so quickly after arriving. Perhaps the most surprising aspect, he showed off great strength despite his size. Given his debut, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him in the starting eleven against Juve, as Milan are desperately lacking a Bonaventura-type player.
