AC Milan prepare swap deal to sign Tottenham target in January

Struggling Serie A giants AC Milan are reportedly preparing a swap deal involving Manuel Locatelli to sign Tottenham Hotspur target Milan Badelj from Fiorentina this January.

Locatelli, currently 19, has played 590 minutes this season for the rossoneri and has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Lucas Biglia and the return to fitness of veteran Riccardo Montolivo. And the youngster needs more time on the pitch to develop.

Milan can allow Locatelli to leave the club in January and Fiorentina are said to be after the midfielder, who appears to be liked by the La Viola director Pantaleo Corvino a lot. It is believed that Fiorentina will look to make signings in January and Locatelli is on their list.

While Milan will happy to leave Locatelli leave, they will ask for Milan Badelj in return from the men in violet. A Tottenham Hotspur target already, Badelj’s contract at Fiorentina runs out in 2018 and is liked a lot by Vincenzo Montella.
