AC Milan president Scaroni reveals the 'two mountains to climb' for the Rossoneri

AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni spoke in a long interview with Il Sole 24 Ore, in which he talked about various matters but especially the Rossoneri club.

"Gazidis? We have a managing director of great international calibre like him who, in England, led Arsenal and was the deputy commissioner of the MLS. We divided the tasks. He manages the management and the team, I follow the Italian activities. Football is one of the major industries of our countries and is one of the pulsating hearts of our society," he said.

"We have two mountains to climb at Milan: the mountain of sports results and the mountain of economic results. When I meet a fan full of enthusiasm who asks me: 'president, why do you not buy another great player?', I answer him that we'll do it if Financial Fair Play allows it.

"I explain the mechanism that lets you buy players only with the resources that come from club profits. He is often surprised because he does not know these rules. Football is changing and all our world must mature," he concluded.
