    AC Milan sale: Who’s the man behind negotiations

    As we previously reported, Silvio Berlusconi is in talks over AC Milan’s sale to a China group which is currently negotiating the deal through an American advisor.

    According to Il Sole 24 Ore, that American advisor is Mr. Salvatore Galatiolo, a former Lehman Brothers’ banker who had created the Sports Advisory and Finance Group department when he was still working for the American banck.

    After the Lehman Brothers’ bankruptcy, Mr. Galatiolo founded the Galatiolo Sports Partners, a group which is now leader in the sports advisory and finance community.
