Agent confirms Napoli could make Giuseppe Rossi bid in January
The likes of Emmanuel Adebayor, Dani Osvaldo and Miroslav Klose, who are all free agents and could join Napoli straight away, have been linked with a move to the club but neither De Laurentiis nor Maurizio Sarri are eager to sign anyone of them at this stage.
Former Chelsea star Didier Drogba has also emerged as a possible replacement for the former Ajax ace even if the Ivorian’s contract with Montreal Impact expires at the end of the year.
Another striker linked with a move to Napoli is Giuseppe Rossi. Talking to Zona 11 Pm, a tv program broadcasted by RAI, the Italian agent has claimed that Aurelio De Laurentiis has always had interest in his client.
“Everything can happen in the January transfer window. I’ve been talking a lot about Giuseppe Rossi with Mr. De Laurentiis ans a few years ago we even went close to finalize a switch to Napoli.”
Giuseppe Rossi has two goals in six appearances with Celta Vigo this term. He joined the Spanish club in a season loan deal from Fiorentina and his contract with La Viola expires at the end of the season.
