Agent: ex-Chelsea man wanted by three Top 10 clubs

Three of the World’s “Top Ten clubs” have pursued Chelsea man Ramires, according to his agent.

Speaking in an interview with GloboEsporte Luis Carlini, the Selecao star’s agent spoke of the former Chelsea man’s odds of leaving the Chinese Super League for one of the best clubs - which we imagine is in Europe.

“Three of the top 10 clubs in the world have moved in a formal way, but I can’t say more than that,” Carlini said.

“Interest is one thing, formalising it is another. Ramires wouldn’t come cheap, he’s an important player for [Fabio] Capello.”

‘For a deal to get over the line there has to be agreement between all parties. There’s still a bit of time until the January transfer window, but it’s logical there are already contacts.’

Yet recent reports seemed to indicate that Jiansu Suning were willing to sell him to Inter, who are owner by the same people. A recent article from the Gazzetta seemed to confirm this.

The Brazilian played 160 league games for Chelsea, scoring 17 goals before joining Jiangsu for around €29m.
