Agent of Schick; "Huge workload plus the tremendous stress have impacted on the results of the medical."

The agent of Patrik Schick has been speaking to iSport about his clients health problems which caused Juventus to pull the plug on a proposed €30M move to Turin. Having failed two medicals with the Serie A champions, the 21-year-old has now been talking to Inter with the Nerazzurri interested in acquiring his services.

Pavel Paska wanted to set the record straight however, as he explained that; “Patrik began last season in July with Sparta Prague before making the move to Sampdoria. He has played football for almost one year continuously except for the Christmas break of around eight days. He was also with the Czech Under-21’s at the European Championships in Poland in May and has plated a total of 44 matches last season”.

He went on to state that; “The huge workload plus the tremendous stress have impacted on the results of the medical. He had an initial fatigue to the heart and then an inflammation. What has been reported about this so called problem has been reported wrongly. All the doctors have given great reassurance and agree that there is nothing serious”.
