Alessio Romagnoli yet to commit a foul in Serie A so far this season

AC Milan centre-back Alessio Romagnoli is known to be one of the most promising defenders of the Italian football panorama. Each centre defender has his own style and Romagnoli is very different from many other Italian defenders. Take Juventus’ Giorgio Chiellini, by instance. The Juventus star is popular for his ruthless tackles and for committing many fouls during a game, a bit like his predecessors Paulo Montero, another harsh Juventus centre-defender.

Romagnoli played in place of Chiellini in the last two games of Italy national team against Spain and Macedonia and the former Sampdoria man impressed for his personality and self-control.

Our pundit Marco Demicheli points out that Romagnoli has yet to commit one single foul in Serie A games this season.

The AC Milan centre-back has played 630 minutes so far (every game, a part from the Sassuolo clash) and only has one yellow card that he picked up in the final second of Milan-Napoli, when he was punished for a handball which did not prevent Jose Maria Callejon from scoring the 4-2 for the partenopei.

Another very challenging came is waiting for Romangoli tonight as Juventus travel to the San Siro to face second-ranked AC Milan.

As long as he’s able to stop the likes of Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala, rossoneri fans will forgive him if he commits the first foul of his season tonight.
