According to today's edition of Corriere Dello Sport, Sandro has presented a counteroffer to Juventus: he wants €5m per year in order to remain at the club past his contract length (currently 2020). The Bianconeri, once again, are not willing to go this high, which has caused the negotiations to freeze. 

 

In the meantime, Juve are studying the market for potential replacements. Thus far, they have identified the likes of Jordi Alba, Marcelo and Grimaldo, all of which are capable enough to replace the Brazilian. 

 

In fact, should nothing happen between the two parties before the summer, then a departure shouldn't be excluded already next year for Sandro, with several clubs interested in his services.
