Allegri, Pochettino to swap places as Juventus begin hunt for new manager?

Mauricio Pochettino and Massimiliano Allegri might swap places before the start of next campaign in what would be an interesting transfer saga.

Allegri announced on Friday that he will be leaving the Turin-based club at the end of the current campaign after five successful seasons. Ever since his announcement, a number of managers are linked with the soon-to-be vacant position at one of the most prestigious clubs in European football.

According to English tabloid The Sunday Express, the Italian giants have identified Tottenham Hotspur manager Pochettino as a potential replacement and are optimistic the Argentine will be interested in taking up the job, especially after he recently announced that he might leave the North London club if they win the Champions League title in the final against Liverpool on June 1.

Even though Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is hopeful of persuading former Southampton manager to continue in his role at the club, he himself has started to look at the number of possible candidates to replace Pochettino in case if he decides to leave and has identified Allegri as the man to take up the job.
