Not only Chelsea: Ancelotti linked to Premier League vacancy

Italian tactician Carlo Ancelotti is being linked with the vacant managerial position at Everton. A day after Dutch manager Ronald Koeman was sacked, reports surfaced that Ancelotti is on Everton’s wishlist.

After winning last year’s Bundesliga title, Ancelotti was shown the door after only a handful of matches this season. Bayern Munich players had reportedly become disgruntled with his training methods, to the point they began to organize their own. Furthermore, star forward Thomas Mueller was locked in Ancelotti’s doghouse.

Koeman, who’s been given a talented, but flawed, roster at Goodison Park, was sacked after his club’s 2-5 loss to Arsenal. The loss dropped them into the relegation zone.

Despite being linked to Everton, other reports indicated Ancelotti may be headed elsewhere. Specifically out east…the Far East. Chinese outlet The Nanfang Daily has reported that the Italian is set to replace Spanish World Cup winning manager Luiz Felipe Scolari at Guangzhou Evergrande.
