Arsenal star 'flattered' by Barcelona interest

Reports in the past week have suggested that La Liga giants Barcelona are interested in signing Arsenal's French forward Alexandre Lacazette. The Gunners signed Lacazette from Lyon before the start of the 2017/18 season but, after a really strong season for the North London side, he could be heading for the door.

Now, in words reported by Telefoot, Lacazette has said that he is 'flattered' by the interest of Barcelona but did not comment any further. Lacazette has been a mainstay for Arsenal this season and his chemistry up top with Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been scintilating in recent months.

Arsenal are unlikely to want to part with Lacazette unless a lucrative offer comes in from the Catalan giants; although their interest is not yet concrete and this could be the last we hear of it.
