Atletico Madrid join Milanese clubs in race for Insigne

Napoli’s star striker Lorenzo Insigne has been linked with three different clubs ahead of the summer transfer window. The Frattamaggiore-born striker is reportedly unsettled after the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti at the club and is eager to move away from Naples and embrace a new challenge away from the club where he grew up.

Serie A giants Inter Milan, AC Milan and Spanish side Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing the 27-year-old and have already initiated contact with Insigne’s camp in order to see if a deal can be facilitated.

However, as per Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Napoli, who failed to come to a new contract with the Italy international, will not let their ace player go for cheap next season and they will not entertain any offer of less than €70 to €80 million. Insigne has represented Napoli in 23 league games this season, where he has scored 10 goals and provided six assists.
