Aubameyang explains why he wouldn’t switch Borussia Dortmund with Real Madrid

Borussia Dortmund star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has rejected transfer rumours linking him with a move to Real Madrid. The Merengues are looking for a long time replacement for departing French striker Karim Benzema and the Gabonese striker is said to be one of LaLiga giants’ favourite picks.

Real Madrid, however, have just been handed a two-transfer window ban and will not be able to register new signings until January 2018 unless FIFA lifts the punishment.
Talking to the CNN, ahead of the beginning of the Africa Cup of nations that will be held in his home country, Aubameyang has denied that he’s considering a move to the Bernabeu.

“There are rumours linking me with a move to Real Madrid, but I want to stay at Borussia Dortmund for very long time, there are amazing fans here.”

The 27-year-old striker is one of Europe’s most exciting strikers. He has scored 19 goals in 20 appearances in all competitions so far this season and his contract with the Bundesliga giants expires in 2020.
