Barcelona agree deal to sign starlet in January
The 23-year-old is currently recovering from an injury but should be eligible to play by the beginning of the new year.
​Barcelona have a first option clause to sign him from Palmeiras and are set to welcome his services for a free close to € 9 million.
The player has already reached an agreement with the La Liga giants and the two clubs have reached a principle of agreement as well.
Yerry Mina will become Barcelona’s fourth-choice defender after the likes of Gerard Pique, Umtiti and Javier Mascherano.
The deal is subject to the approbation of Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde who has yet to give his green light to the transfer.
Mina is a long time target of Barcelona and Inter had also set their sights on him.
The player, however, has opted to move to Barcelona and is set to move to the Camp Nou if Valverde gives his green light.
