Barcelona confirm signing of Juventus and Liverpool target
Juventus and Napoli had already made approaches for the Toulouse defender, who was yet to sign a professional contract with the French club. But Barcelona came in late to convince him to join the Catalan side.
Barcelona have now announced the signing of the defender, whose contract at Toulouse ends at the end of the season and he will join the club on a free transfer in the summer.
We have previously exclusively reported that Eric Abidal has a big role in helping his club sign Todibo as he had personally met with the player, his agent and family to convince him to move to the Nou Camp by snubbing Juventus.
This season, the 19-year-old has impressed at Toulouse. He has replaced Issa Diop impeccably following his former teammate's move to West Ham United in the summer. Todibo made ten appearances this season, scoring once.
