Next Tuesday, Barcelona will have Inter and Tottenham fate in its hands. Blaugrana already reached the next stage of Champions League with 13 points collected.
On the other hand, Inter have to win against PSV and hope that Valverde’s team win against Tottenham in order to qualify to the round of 16.
Nerazzurri’s worries are about Barcelona’s performance since they already achieved their goal so they could not be motivated enough to beat Spurs.
During a press conference, Valverde clarified these rumors. “Will Messi play against Tottenham? We'll see on Tuesday but I can reassure Inter: we will go on the pitch to win, regardless of the players that I will choose. Our club respects the Champions League and faces every game to get the maximum. I make choices in relation to our interests, not those of Inter".
