Barcelona-Tottenham: Piqué reassures Inter

Inter and Tottenham are still in the race to qualify for the next round of the Champions League. The Nerazzurri are due to face Psv at home while Spurs are set to face Barcelona at the Nou Camp where the Blaugrana are without a defeat in almost ten years.

Inter need to win or draw against Psv, hoping that Barcelona beat Tottenham at home. If the Italians and the English end the group stage with the same points, Spurs will go through because of their better goal difference in direct clashes against the Nerazzurri.

The Catalans’ defender Gerard Piqué briefly spoke to Tuttosport about tomorrow’s clash reassuring Inter that the Blaugrana will do their best to beat Mauricio Pochettino’s side: “We’ll play for the win, as usual. Our history proves that’s the only thing we can do. We want to win and keep a clean sheet, I hope the best between Inter and Tottenham qualify, we’ll do our game and we’ll win it”.
