Reports in Spain claim Juventus are interested in signing Barcelona wonderkid Abel Ruiz, a 16-year-old striker grown in the blaugrana’s academy.

The Spaniard is showing his skills in the U17 World Cup that will see his Spain side face England in the final. Ruiz netted a brace in the semi-final against Mali and according to a report of Ilbianconero scouts of the Old Lady have been monitoring him.

Ruiz is one of the youngsters Juventus are scouting more frequently this season. The Old Lady is always looking for young prospects to sign and Ruiz is one of the names Marotta and Paratici have included in their agenda.

The promising striker has yet to sign his first professional contract with Barcelona and the Old Lady wants to sign him on the cheap. Trouble is, Barcelona have no intention to sell him and may start new contract talks soon in order to ward off the interest of the Serie A giants.
