Bayern, Man City chase €50m Barca star if Verratti arrives
The Blaugrana midfielder hasn’t enjoyed a strong season after playing well at Euro 2016, and could find himself being forced out the door if Marco Verratti arrives.
The Croatian international found himself being increasingly dropped around the Christmas period by Luis Enrique, being linked to Manchester City and former Coach Pep Guardiola.
El Mundo Deportivo confirm that the Blaugrana are willing to listen to offers, but only if they’re above the €50 million mark.
While Denis Suarez and Andre Gomes have failed to deputise for the 29-year-old, Marco Verratti could replace him.
The Italian recently told PSG that he doesn’t want to play at the Parc des Princes anymore, and was later photographed with a copy of El Mundo Deportivo in his hand.
Verratti is seen as one of the most talented midfielders in Europe, and would be an addition prestigious enough to warrant selling Rakitic.
