Man United target set to finalise Juventus switch
The Italy international is set for a medical this Monday, in a deal worth 40m euros plus add ons. He will earn 4m euros a year in a five year contract.
Reported by TuttoJuve, Man United has tried to steal the deal by putting in a late bid, but this has failed and now the winger is the advanced stages of contract talks with the reigning Serie A winners Juventus.
The Turin club has beaten Man United, their rivals Manchester City and even La Liga giants Barcelona for the 23-year-old’s signature.
There has been a frenzy of transfers around the Italian league so far, with AC Milan being the most active. It would be important, therefore, for Juventus not to miss out and lose their place as the best in the country, as they look to be capitalise on last seasons’ victory and go for a second consecutive league title.
