Blow for Inter as target relaxed about future and wants to 'win the Champions League' with City

Inter Milan are searching for the next big signing to make their team more complete ahead of next season's Serie A campaign. Inter look set to finish in the top four this season, barring any collapse and shock results going against them. 

One of the players that Inter have been linked with is Manchester City's German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan but the City star has spoken to Bild and this will come as a blow to Inter:

"​Renewal? Personally, I don't set a deadline for X or Y, I'm relaxed since I still have a year left of my contract. I would understand the anxiety if we were in March 2020.

"With the Champions League, this season would have been a 10/10 and praised. In England, we won all the possible trophies, including the victory in the best league in the world. The elimination in Europe was extremely hard, but that's football. But it would be wrong to cry again for the Champions League after these great national successes. Certainly, if I can still wish for something at the club level for my future, then I want to win the Champions League. This is my great goal."
