Bologna vs. Roma, Garcia: 'It seemed a water polo game!'

21 November at 21:24
Roma’s manager Rudi Garcia showed his annoyance in front of the journalists following the Giallorossi’s 2-2 stalemate away at Bologna.

The game was undoubtedly affected by heavy rain, with the two teams forced to play in an waterlogged pitch.

“Sorry but tonight we can’t talk about a football game”, the French manager told both  Mediaset Premium and Sky Sport Italia.

“That was not a football game, that was a football parody. How can’t you postpone a game like this? Even when we were 2-1 up it would have been fine to us to interrupt the game because that was like water polo played with feet. We have asked the referee to interrupt the game.”

“The positive thing is that we didn’t suffer any injury. Don’t ask me questions related to football, we can’t talk about it tonight.”

Following this draw, Roma have reached Fiorentina and Inter on top of the Serie A table, but the Capitolines have played one game more than their Serie A rivals.
