Brazilian starlet talks of possible Real Madrid move
U-21 Brazilian starlet Vinicius Junior has opened up about his impending move to Real Madrid. Per the Flamengo product’s unique deal with Los Blancos, the player himself will choose if he wants to move to Madrid in July 2018 or whether he’d prefer to play another season with the Rio-based team. In the second case, his incorporation should take place in the summer of 2019. An alternative would be to play only until the end of 2018, as he himself points out.
“I have been on vacation for three days. We are going to think about it only after the New Year, but I intend to stay until the end of 2018," he said. "After winning the Libertadores I will be able to play quietly at Real Madrid.”
According to Marca, Vinicius Junior will choose to stay with Flamengo if the club promises him more playing time in the upcoming season.
