Breaking: Agent confirms Colombian starlet will join Barcelona in 2018

Barcelona are long time admirers of Colombian starlet Yerry Mina and his agent Felipe Russo has revealed that the player will be joining the Camp Nou hierarchy in 2018. The 22-year-old is regarded as one of the most promising centre-backs in South America and Inter had been linked with signing him as well. At the moment Yerry Mina is contracted with Barcelona.

The player’s agent, however, has confirmed that Mina will be joining Barcelona in 2018.

“He [Yerry Mina] is in Brazil now but he will playing in La Liga from 2018. It’s a basically a done deal, he has always dreamt of playing for the Catalan club”, Russo told FC Inter News (via Ansa).

“The best thing for him at the moment is to play for Palmeiras for one more season so he can prepare himself for the World Cup as well. In my opinion things won’t change, he will be joining Barcelona in 2018.”
