Buffon: 'Juventus are the strongest team in Europe today'

Former Juventus goalkeeper and club legend Gianluigi Buffon has said that the bianconeri are the strongest side in Europe and in the Champions League this season.

Juve will face Swiss giants Young Boys later today in Berne, as they will look to ensure that they go through the group as winners. They'd have to win the game, as dropping points could prove costly if Manchester United beat Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium.

Buffon was recently talking to Sky Sports and he believes that Juve are the strongest team in Europe and the addition of Cristiano Ronaldo has helped them be that.

The Italian said:  "Juve is the strongest team of the Champions League? Yes, Juventus has given very precise indications of great strength, but not even in the last few years we have seen a team as strong as this in terms of mentality.

"Plus Cristiano Ronaldo has also been added, it is clear that Juve is the team that everyone would never want to meet."
