There have been many rumours recently about offers that the veteran has received ahead of next season. A few weeks ago, the president of Boca Juniors admitted that there had been contacts with Buffon, while English media claimed that Liverpool is a possibility. 

 

Basically, there are two possible scenarios. The first is perhaps the most obvious one, retirement from football. The second, however, could according to Sportmediaset be a goodbye solely for Juventus, while he could continue to play football elsewhere.
