    Whatever will happen in the race for the scudetto, Napoli are having a great season, and are almost sure to qualify for the next Champions League: for this reason, their president Aurelio De Laurentiis is ready to invest an important amount of money on the transfer market.
    Of course, the azzurri’s strategy will depend from the future of their current striker Gonzalo Higuain; the Argentine has a lot of suitors, but will leave only if somebody will pay his €94,5m transfer fee. If that will be the case, Napoli will be even more competitive on the market.
    In any case, the Campania’s club will reinforce its team’s defense, and its main target for such position remains Juventus 29-year-old Martin Caceres: as reported by the Corriere dello Sport, the azzurri are in talks with Daniel Fonseca, agent of the Uruguay international, to obtain the former Sevilla man as a free agent. The alternatives to Caceres -who is also a target for AC Milan and AS Roma- are Torino 24-year-old Nikola Maksimovic and River Plate 19-year-old Emanuel Mammana.
    Napoli are also seeking a high-rated midfielder, and are thinking about Ajax 23-year-old Davy Klaassen. The azzurri remain also interested in Fiorentina 24-year-old Matias Vecino.
