Cavani agent: 'No contact with Napoli'

PSG forward Edinson Cavani came to the Parisien club from Serie A side Napoli and rumours in the past year have linked the Uruguayan with a return to Italy and Naples. However, there has been nothing concrete and it has been thought that Cavani is outside of Napoli's transfer budget; especially for a player approaching the twilight of his career.

Speaking to CalcioNapoli1926, Cavani's agent, Walter Fernando Guglielmone, spoke on his client's future and whether there is any truth to the Napoli rumours.

"For now we have no news concerning the future. The only truth and the only certainty is that Edi has a contract with Paris Saint-Germain for another year, until June 2020. I have not heard from the leaders of Napoli in the last year, there have never been any contacts."
