Champions League: Why Juventus support Napoli vs. Liverpool and hope Inter knock Tottenham out

Serie A giants Juventus would hope that their Italian counterparts Napoli and Inter Milan win their games later today, as their presences in the next round would help the bianconeri indirectly.

Napoli travel to Anfield later today and would hope to do enough to qualify. The partenopei are currently top of their group, with nine points. Liverpool need a 1-0 win to qualify and if Napoli score, the Reds would have to win by a two-goal margin.

As far as Inter are concerned, they are level on points with Tottenham but behind them on the table because Spurs scored an away goal at San Siro. Inter will have to match Tottenham's result against Barcelona at the Nou Camp.

As far as Juve are concerned, they will certainly find it easy to beat Young Boys tomorrow and if Inter and Napoli win, it will become easier for them in the Round of 16.

If Inter win and Spurs lose or draw, Juve's possible opponents for the next round will be restricted. But if Spurs win, Juve will have a chance of facing them in the next round the way they did last season.

If Napoli win, PSG will finish second. If Napoli lose, Liverpool will finish second if PSG beat Red Star Belgrade. That way, Juve will have Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, Lyon and Schalke as possible games in the next round.
