Chelsea back in the race for PSG star, good news for Man Utd

Chelsea are in the race for Lucas Moura, according to the latest reports.

The Brazilian enjoyed his best season with PSG last year, scoring twelve goals in Ligue 1.

Yet the arrivals of Neymar and, to a minor extent, Kylian M’Bappe have eaten into the former Sao Paulo star’s playing time.

A long-term Inter target, Moura is being linked to Antonio Conte who, according to the Daily Mail, would be available for the Champions League.

As Le 10 Sport wrote last week, this could have major consequences for Manchester United, seeing as buying Moura would likely mean jettisoning Willian, who scored a key goal for the Blues recently as they pegged back Liverpool in EPL action.

Willian is wanted by Manchester United.

PSG will need to sell in the winter, with the club needing to earn €80 million in order to keep up with FFP requirements. Moura is one of the names on the chopping block, having played a very small role this year.
